About Wield VA

Built by someone who's been managing remote teams for years — not learning on your dime.

Most VA companies are started by marketers. Wield VA was started by an operator.

The short version

Wield VA is founded by Brad Murray, an Indianapolis-based entrepreneur who has spent years building and running remote-first businesses. Through Scale Squad, Brad manages a 15-person team in the Philippines that hosts and supports more than 1,300 WordPress websites for businesses across the United States. He also founded Inspire Website Design, a web design agency serving small businesses.

Wield VA exists because of a pattern Brad saw over and over in those businesses: small business owners know exactly what marketing they need — they just don't have the time to do it, the budget for US help, or the bandwidth to learn AI tools that could do most of the heavy lifting.

Why this model works

The hard part of a virtual assistant company isn't the idea — it's the operations. Hiring well, paying reliably, training consistently, building trust across cultures and time zones, and keeping quality high when nobody's in the same room. That's the part that takes years to figure out, and it's the part Wield VA didn't have to figure out, because the systems, the hiring pipeline, and the team relationships already exist.

We layered two things on top of that foundation:
